Selskabets formål udøves gennem det selvstændige datterselskab Energi Fyn Holding A/S, der kan udøve formålene igennem et eller flere hel- eller delejede selskaber. Selskabets datterselskaber kan være ejer eller medejer af transmissions-selskaber og produktionsselskaber og lignende. Selskaber, som direkte eller indirekte ejes helt eller delvist af Energi Fyn Holding A/S, kan af bestyrelsen i Energi Fyn a.m.b.a. besluttes fusioneret med andre selskaber med tilsvarende formål, ligesom selskabernes driftsaktiviteter kan overdrages til sådanne selskaber mod udstedelse af aktier i det købende selskab og/eller mod kontant betaling. Energi Fyn Holding A/S kan af Energi Fyn a.m.b.a.s repræsentantskab med simpel majoritet besluttes fusioneret med andre selskaber med tilsvarende formål.
